# Universal Tool

For resource gathering on the station, a special item will be required - the universal tool (or simply "tool"). Before production launches, all avatars will be equipped with a common (gray) quality tool with unlimited durability.

Using this tool, players will be able to collect Cryptogen in the station's most dangerous regions and fill Bitcases - special containers - with it. All tools will have limited durability that gets consumed during extraction.

Uncommon (green), rare (blue), and epic (purple) quality tools will be producible at manufacturing facilities. The higher the tool's quality tier, the better the chances of obtaining rare and valuable resources when scanning.
