Production

In 2040WORLD, more than 95% of in-game items are manufactured at the production facilities. To create items, players will need resources obtained on the station.

Each industry will be represented by its own production building. At the same time, all industries are interconnected, which guarantees demand for goods from other industries. Players can buy a production facility and become its owner to create goods for sale and rent it out by setting their price. All this will bring in income but also entail certain costs.

Each production has a special Uptime parameter which defines its workload. The more orders owners of a production building get, the higher this parameter and thus their profit. The Uptime parameter will increase with the growth of the project’s audience.

To gain access to rare and valuable items, players need to develop their production.
