# Economic model

2040WORLD brings crypto enthusiasts and gamers together under one economic model.

At its heart, the game's core loop challenges players to strategically expend gear and items — fueling everything from resource gathering to pure combat thrills, while driving character progression and mastery.

At the current stage, players can sell resources and equipment at auction, earning currency to purchase essential items or seasonal battle passes. Lot prices can be adjusted directly by players based on real-time demand.

In the future, extracted resources will be usable in player-owned manufacturing facilities to produce new gear and goods. Facility owners will earn revenue from a share of in-game player expenditures.

We're developing an integrated system where progress is earned through economic participation — players face meaningful challenges, pursue clear objectives, and utilize specialized tools, with advancement only possible when community members assume complementary roles to achieve shared goals.
