# Basement

The third zone, located inside the station. Since security systems mercilessly attack anyone who enters, access is time-limited. The map schedule can be checked in the project's social networks and in-game

**Map type:** Arena - Interior station areas.

**Danger level:** Very high

On this map, your opponents will be other players. The extraction pod area is easily exposed to gunfire - stay alert.

**Unique features:**

1\. **Falloff mechanic**

This is a permanent progressive energy drain system active on the map, divided into three phases. Each subsequent phase drains energy faster than the previous one. Phase transitions occur after collecting a certain number of chests.

2\. **Additional conditions:**

* Energy restoration consumables don't work here.
* Prestige rewards for avatar kills are increased on this map.
* When an avatar dies, the station's defense system launches a charge that damages all other avatars' energy.

3\. **Chests**

This map contains chests with high-quality equipment and consumables. Collecting a crate grants your avatar a temporary damage boost buff.

**Maximum number of players:** 6

**Entry requirements:** 50 successful extractions from any maps combined.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.2040world.io/maps/basement.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
